As the title says it is all due to the reader of the blog Cid, that i've become aware of this artist name - Even though knowing about some of his pictures, as the one appearing in my very first post. His name is Zdzislaw Beksiński and he is polish born to my knowlegde.

SvarSletHis works are quite similar to H.R. Giger's, although Beksiński puts more attention to contrast and space. I think colors are perfectly matched to each other. You can also take a look on Jan Lebenstein works, they are a bit similar, but more "medievalish", especially the group of paintings named "Demony" (he illustrated Polish edition of George Orwell's "Animal Farm"). They are all basically belonging to the figurative/abstract art current.
